Part of the Transformation

August 21, 2025
This summer, Victor V. Scudiery and Margaret Bailey made a generous $50,000 gift to Hackensack Meridian Bayshore Medical Center in Holmdel for the medical center to use in areas where it is needed the most.
This comes on the heels of the couple’s other generous gifts, bringing their total giving to more than $200,000 over the last couple of years, including establishing the Victor V. Scudiery Palliative & Hospice Care Fund, a vital resource for the hospital, and one that makes a significant difference in the lives of patients facing serious illnesses.
Margaret and Vic have been involved in civic life in Monmouth County for decades, with Vic previously serving on Bayshore’s Board of Trustees. Together, they have witnessed first-hand the transformative growth of the medical center throughout the years.
“The latest gift represents their deep appreciation for our team and mission,” said Marisa Medina, executive director of Bayshore Medical Center Foundation. “This gift will support our team and the continued improvements at the hospital. Margaret and Vic have so much pride in the medical center; they are participating in our evolution.”
"The team at the hospital does such a wonderful job taking care of everyone. It's part of our community,” said Vic. “Bayshore has been through a transformation and we are proud to support them." Vic has had a long career in business and real estate in the area that included co-founding Interstate Electronics and creating Airport Plaza in Hazlet. Now 92, he’s still working.
“I am glad we have such a good hospital right down the road, and that we are able to help," said Margaret. Along with this latest act of generosity, the couple shared more wonderful news, announcing their recent nuptials.
We congratulate Vic and Margaret on their happy news and extend our sincere gratitude to them for their selfless support of Bayshore Medical Center. To learn more about how you can support Bayshore, email Marisa Medina at marisa.medina@hmhn.org.
