Conditions We Treat

Congenital Heart Disease (CHD)

Congenital heart defects are among the most common birth conditions. These structural heart issues are present at birth and can vary in severity. Our team offers lifelong care for children born with CHD, with a seamless transition to our adult congenital heart program, the only one of its kind in New Jersey.

Acquired Heart Disease

Acquired heart conditions develop during childhood and may include:

  • Cardiomyopathy
  • Kawasaki disease
  • Rheumatic heart disease
  • Infective endocarditis
  • MIS-C (linked to COVID-19)

Our pediatric cardiologists use a multidisciplinary approach to provide early diagnosis and personalized treatment for each child. We work closely with your child’s general pediatrician to identify symptoms early and ensure timely referrals for cardiology evaluation when needed.
