About Us
Elevate is a violence prevention program serving Monmouth County youth ages 12–20 who are at risk of engaging in violence.
Our mission is to empower individuals impacted by violence through trauma-informed care, advocacy, and community collaboration; fostering healing, resilience, racial equity, and hope for a safer tomorrow.
In partnership with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Coastal & Northern New Jersey, Elevate utilizes the power of group work to practice healthy communication, conflict resolution, and many other social skills.
Our Services
Elevate offers youth a variety of opportunities designed to reduce risk factors, build confidence, and increase long-term success. Services include:
- Mentoring & Support Group - mentoring that fosters trust, accountability, and encouragement through consistent, caring relationships.
- Trauma-Informed Counseling - Licensed clinicians provide a safe, supportive space to explore emotions, process trauma, and build resilience.
- Recreational Activities - Engaging group outings and activities that promote teamwork, connection, and fun in a safe environment.
- College Preparation - Guidance through applications, financial aid, and goal-setting to support higher education pathways.
- Job Readiness Training - Resume building, interview prep, and skill development to help youth gain employment and build a future.
- Creative Expression Opportunities - Art, writing, and music projects that allow youth to express themselves, process emotions, and discover new talents.
- Healthy Lifestyle Guidance - Education and support around nutrition, physical wellness, and mental health for overall well-being.
