Outpatient Community Clinic
Each fellow has one-half day per week of clinic for the 36 months of training. Each fellow is, on average, responsible for four to eight patients during each half-day session. A fellow’s outpatient clinical experience is led by an established HUMC cardiologist.

Call Schedule Information
- Fellows take on-call responsibilities from home, and cover cardiac emergencies with the assistance and guidance of general and subspeciality on-call cardiology faculty.
- Weekly Weekday Call
- Weekend Call 1-2 times per month
- Call schedule decreases for senior fellows
Duty Hours
- Limited to a maximum of 80 hours per week
- Averaged over a four-week period
- Inclusive of all in-house activities and all moonlighting, which is generally reserved for senior fellows with program director permission
