Recipe: Omega-3 Grain-Free Granola

November 13, 2025
Looking for a nutritious snack that’s easy on the stomach and full of feel-good fats? Try this crunchy, grain-free granola – created by John Theurer Cancer Center dietitians Sarah Arnao, RDN, and Tricia Scott-Sahler, RDN.
They recently shared research showing that omega-3–rich foods may help stimulate appetite naturally – especially for those who struggle to eat due to nausea or treatment side effects. Pairing this granola with small, frequent meals can also help calm queasiness and support steady energy throughout the day.
